The Journey
How playing games with friends turned into a career in technology.
Where It All Started
Hey, I'm Aleczander! My tech journey started at age 14, just trying to play Minecraft with friends. That meant figuring out how to host a server, which led to building a website so players could buy ranks (to help fund server upgrades, of course). Before long, I was making sites for others and eventually launched CloudRevolution—my own hosting and web development venture.
Finding DevOps
As my curiosity grew, so did the complexity of my projects. I dove into Linux and Docker to scale a custom auction client—and that's where I discovered my passion for DevOps. Not long after, I began assisting Kidz Africa with a few infrastructure projects. Six months later, they brought me on full-time.
Wearing Many Hats
Over the years, I've taken on many roles for clients and colleagues: introducing new technologies, deploying and maintaining systems with Docker 🐳, managing virtualization through Proxmox 🖥️, monitoring infrastructure 📈, and strengthening cybersecurity 🔐. I'm the person people turn to when they ask "how can we do this better?" — and every project is another opportunity to expand my knowledge and sharpen my skills in this ever-evolving field.
The Home Lab
I also run a home lab for fun (and learning), where I host dozens of Docker containers, test automation workflows, and live out my weekend sysadmin dreams. It's my personal playground for experimenting, breaking things, and finding better ways to build them back.

Embracing AI
Artificial Intelligence has become one of my biggest passions. I'm constantly exploring new ways to leverage AI — from automating workflows and enhancing productivity, to building smarter solutions for clients. This exciting frontier of IT is reshaping what's possible, and I'm committed to staying at the cutting edge, finding creative applications that deliver real value.
